Hello Readers,
I know that I haven’t written any blog posts since a while but I’m back! Well I have some good news for you! I have started a new website and I used my blog as an inspiration. Here is the link to my new website. http://saanatripomania.weebly.com/ How I started this website story: I was thinking about starting a blog so I started to add pages and slowly started to work on adding pictures to my 2 to 3 pages at the time with my friends as they were making blogs too. We added more pages and pictures and got creative with the buttons because we could link to them. In the next few days, we improvised our pages and gradually we started adding widgets and anything extra that would make our first blogs decorative and attractive. Then we picked our domains and published our site with Weebly. Our posts had been done, with pages and pictures, links to other sites, cool widgets, and online word clouds called Tagxedos. We asked our camp teacher for help and we published. After that, my friends and I started commenting on the blogs and we found adding posts interactive and fun. So after our camp ended, my neighbor and I continued posting on our blogs and then I decided I would start a second blog. I decided my second blog would be about writing, so I did the same thing for my second blog; I worked on it as much as I could. Here is the link: http://iamawritingstar.weebly.com/ After days came and went, I decided I would start a website about traveling. That is how my website was born. I started making pages and wrote on them. I researched day and night to find answers to questions, and only used a few pictures. Then I thought it would be fun to have a blog page so I could explain about even more places and have people comment and add to the discussion. The next day, I published my site and now it is online. Now my website is online. I hope that you will find something to interest yourself and I wish you luck in finding places that are fun for your family and right for you. I created this website to suggest places with information and pictures. Now of course, the website is more exciting than I can describe, so I hope you will visit it. Once again, here is the link to my website and I hope you will enjoy reading through and picking places for you and your family. Here is the link once again: http://saanatripomania.weebly.com/

Debate:
In debate, you state your claim and your arguments. It is an argument of different opinions, basically. First off, you need to pick a debate topic. This can be picked by your moderator or by your friends or if you’re a teacher, by your students. List some ideas for debate topics first and pick the best one. Next, figure out what your claim is going to be. For example, if my debate topic was about whether or not animals should be tested on for new products, I would say no. So in other words, my claim would be: Animals should not be tested for new products, like medicine or other products. After that, make a list of arguments that support the claim of your debate topic. Think of as many meaningful argument ideas as you can because the more ideas you have, the more possibilities you will be able to choose from. You should pick the two or two strongest arguments. If your arguments are not strong, you will have difficulty listing your points for them and proving them. So pick good ones you will be able to prove. Once you finish picking your strongest arguments, take two sheets of paper. Start by listing your argument. Take this as an example. Then you should list all your points. Argument 1: Animal Cruelty and Abuse
This summer, I attended a debate camp in International Ivy. We learned about the types of debate:
Lincoln Douglass Debate Public Forum Debate Original Debate What do you do in a debate? First, plan your debate. Let's take a look at the example: You should plan like this: First, make an opening statement. Your opening statement should include some background info like what happened when there were no cell phones in the olden days to introduce the topic. Then come up with ideas for your arguments. Pick your strongest arguments and if your topic requires research, go online to go look for facts to back up your arguments. Then plan a strong closing statement. That should get your ready for a debate. You should list all of your points that go with each argument. Watch a sample to know more. International Ivy really is fun! You want to go on a memorable and lifetime vacation. But you don't know how to or what to do. Your parents don't know which rooms to book in, or what to do there. But they do know that they have to check out the things that you can do there. So, if you really want to have a great vacation, these are some great tips for going on a great vacation.
First off, check the website. So if the place has a website, check out the website. For example, let’s say you want to go to the Liberty Science Center. Click on their website first. http://lsc.org/ On their website, explore and try to see what things they have there, like what kinds of exhibits there are, or their calendar to see what dates they are available or what events are happening. Secondly, once you have explore enough, click the tab “Visit us” and see some of their rules by scrolling to the bottom of the page. Once you have seen some of the rules to follow, stay on that tab and click parking info and directions. If you just want to see the map to see what places are close to your location, you should click “Map it”. Or on the top of the page, click “Directions” to see how to go there. Another good thing to do is to check out other people’s reviews. People give out great reviews for you to check out because they have already been to the place. So you would want to check out the reviews. Based on the reviews, and what they have there, and the parking info, and directions, plan your tickets for a suitable time. Oh, here is one tip I almost forgot to tell you: Pack accordingly and check out the rules for what to pack and what not to pack. Have a great tip and I hope that my tips have helped you plan a memorable and lifetime experience! Do you like seeing movies and going to the theater? Good news! In my opinion, I would credit these movies as the best summer movies released because of these reasons:
1. Minions: I would credit this movie as my favorite this summer because the movie is fun and entertaining and it really makes you want to laugh and keep watching. 2. The Wizard of Oz: I would say that this is the second best movie because it is adventurous and a great movie for kids to watch and understand values. 3. Toy Story 3 would be the third movie that would be the best because the characters in the movie and the story told is amazing. 4. Wreck-it-Ralph: Wreck-it-Ralph shows you that you don’t have to perfect to be a good person, and that you don’t have to be ashamed of what you love. It expresses some of the values children and adults need to know about. Very good movie! 5. Finding Nemo: Finding Nemo is another great movie of all time. It shows that parents can’t stop young children from learning and taking risks, otherwise they will always want the parent’s protection and not want to take risks. But also that the child should listen to the parent because the parent knows what is best for their children. These are awesome movies! Last summer, we also went to Coco-Key Water Resort. The Coco-Key Water Resort has lots of fun rides. There are big water slides, and a place to eat.
My family and I went to the rides first to the parrot section of rides where there are big red and blue water slides. There are also other rides and the whole environment seems colorful. On the upper floor, my family and I went to other rides. When I went to one of the big slides, I got scared, which is silly. But when I went, water splashed in my face. Then each of my family members tried the two big water slides. I also when to a ride where I had to jump over the frog pads to get across. That was scary! There are other rides too, for example the ride where you had to crawl across the water to get across. We also had lunch at the place to eat at Coco Key Water Resort. It is a great place to visit! Do you want to have ice cream? Well, last month was National Ice Cream Month! You should've gotten a scoop or two! This national holiday is celebrated on the third Sunday of July each year, was the brainchild of president Ronald Reagan who says that we should observe with ceremonies and activities.
I think that this is great for ice cream lovers, but I also think that if we have too many events that celebrate foods, it will be bad. If we have too many events that celebrate foods, then all of the holidays that we celebrate, and each event will become a mockery. The first ice cream cone was invented accidentally in 1904 at the World Fair in St. Louis by an ice cream vendor who ran out of bowls and came up with the brilliant idea of teaming up with a waffle maker to keep up with the demand. What other foods do you think should have a national month? Let me know in the comments! To find out more visit: https://www.dogonews.com/2012/7/16/are-you-ready-to-celebrate-national-ice-cream-day Happy Belated Ice Cream Month! This is one image from inside the ship.
Welcome to my blog! In this blog, my goals are: To start a blog and entertain readers To have a blog on the internet AND: Have followers. Once again, I will be telling you some of the vacations I took last summer and this summer, and the kinds of camps I took, and anything else you'd like to know. I would also like you to post comments and tell me what other things you'd like to know and what you did this summer. One of the vacations I took was a Disney cruise. The Disney cruise is a cruise in which you get to meet your favorite characters, there are pools. kids clubs, dolphin encounters if you land in Nassau (which my mom had a dolphin encounter). there is also food of your choice. There is also more! there is a beach at Bahamas(my family went to) and you can enjoy your time there as well. Also, my family and I went to snorkeling and you can too! We saw a lot of underwater fish. At first, I was really scared but it was fun. We had an awesome stateroom with a bunk bed. Every night before having dinner, you can watch entertaining shows containing Disney characters, like the villains. At any time, you can visit the parks and leave the ship. My family went to Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom. There are amazing rides to go on in each of the parks for example, the Kaali Rapids and the Dinosaur. The Disney cruise was a lifetime vacation! Ask your parents to take you there and enjoy the fun like my family, and the money spent is worth it. Just pack accordingly, and you'll be fine! Thank you and welcome! |
